Native New Yorker Abigail Simon was trained at the renowned School of American Ballet where she was awarded a full scholarship.

Upon completion of her training & many years as a professional with companies such as American Ballet Theatre, The Joffrey Ballet, and Broadway, Abigail coaches and helps artists understand what it takes to become a professional & helps them take their skills and passion to the next level.

ABIGAIL HAS BEEN A MASTER TEACHER FOR:

The Joffrey Ballet, Alvin Ailey, Vienna State Opera, Cirque du Soleil, Chautauqua School of Dance, The Dallas Conservatory, American Academy of Dance, Royal Acadamy of Fine Arts, Ballet Chicago, Ruth Page, Broadway Dance Center, State Street Ballet, Break the floor productions, amongst others.

HER ROLES THROUGHOUT HER CAREER INCLUDE:

Broadway’s An American in Paris, Louise in Rob Ashford’s Carousel & his Lyric Opera production of Carmen. Abigail also appeared on Broadway as Victoria the White Cat in celebration of Cats passing the torch as Broadway’s longest running show.

Christopher Wheeldon‘s After the Rain, the Principal in Le Corsaire, the principal in Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet, the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker, the principal in Balanchine’s Baiser de la Fee, Divertimento # 15, Symphony in C, Who Cares, Sir Frederick Ashton’s Monotones 1, Cinderella, Bourneville’s Flower Festival, the Principal in Raymonda, the Diamond pas de deux in Sleeping Beauty, Robert Joffrey’s Post Cards, Arpino’s Kettentanz, Reflections, & Trinity, Anthony Tudor’s Lilac Garden, Kurt Jooss’s Green Table, and Twyla Tharp’s Water Baby Bagatelle.

She has danced new choreography by Wayne McGregor, Christopher Wheeldon, Yuri Possokhov, Sean Curran, Stephen Mills, Jessica Lang, Benjamin Millepied and Sarah Ogleby.

In 2017 Abigail created a production and management company for world-class dancers, actors, Film, Podcasts, Broadway Master Classes, and choreographers.  Current clients include dancers from American Ballet Theatre, San Francisco Ballet, New York City Ballet, Conversations On Dance, the An American in Paris and Hamilton Broadway Tours, and more.
